Gabriele Stöwe Headshot black and white

Gabriele Stöwe

Continually increasing efficiency and stability is what motivates me. Straight-up numbers don't have much to do with the changing business of the agency. I see myself as a business coach and a strategist and contribute to the development and expansion of our business model. Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. (Confucius)

For any matter related to finances and numbers, she's the one to go to: Gabriele Stöwe, our Chief Financial Officer. Since 2015, she has overseen all financial and commercial matters of our communications agency throughout Germany from our headquarters in Frankfurt. She is the head of the Finance team, which has 28 members and is made up of two pillars: the Accounting team, which handles classic bookkeeping, the annual financial statement and reporting; and the business managers, who serve as an interface between consultants and the Finance department as project leaders and controllers. Gabriele Stöwe is also a member of the Executive Board of Edelman Germany.

Gabriele Stöwe has been part of the Edelman family since 2004. She is therefore very well networked in the Edelman financial world. The focus of her work is, of course, on profitable customer management and minimizing over-service. Beyond this, she is a specialist in procurement and well-versed in contracts and everything they entail. On top of all that, she also drives the development of the financial processes.

At the begin of her career at Edelman, Gabriele Stöwe initially supported the Chief Financial Officer Europe at the time as a Financial Controller. She then additionally took on the role of System Manager and advised all locations in financial matters. Before she was named Chief Financial Officer in March 2015, she was Director Finance from 2007 for all Edelman locations in the German-speaking regions and also a member of the Executive Board.

When Gabriele Stöwe isn't crunching numbers and negotiating contracts, she likes to be outside. For example skiing with her two daughters or even just taking a nice long walk - especially with the dog. It's a good thing we have a four-legged representative at almost every location - that makes working between locations even more fun!
