Since the beginning of June, renowned creative Joy Chakravorty has been on board as Creative Director at Edelman Germany to further strengthen and expand the creation function. In his role, he is responsible for the overall creative vision and consultation of clients across all Edelman locations, reporting directly to Manuel Frank, Chief Creative Officer Germany & Global Creative Chair for Health.


With many years of creative award-winning work under his belt, Joy will now join the 15-strong creative team as Creative Director, based in Berlin. In his role, Joy will be the first creative point of contact with a focus on international clients and teams in the Edelman portfolio, further sharpening creative excellence from concept to execution.

Joy has won numerous awards at international shows – including the Cannes Lions, D&AD Awards, The One Show and the ADC competition – for his outstanding work for renowned clients such as Porsche, Becks, BMW and Netflix. Prior to Edelman, Joy worked as a freelancer. In his previous positions, he gained multi-layered experience as a senior creative for Keko and as a copywriter for Serviceplan. In addition, Joy has worked as a copywriter for Kolle Rebbe as well as Synapse Goa.
