Elisabeth Maino

Director Corporate Health

Handling mergers for customers and at Edelman Germany, bringing the team together, introducing new processes, adjusting and optimizing structures - these are exactly the types of career challenges Elisabeth Maino loves.

Since September 2016, Elisabeth Maino has been Key Account Director for the Edelman customer Dentsply Sirona. Together with her team in Cologne and Frankfurt, she develops and manages global communications programs for the largest manufacturer of dental care solutions for dentists and dental technicians.

Elisabeth Maino has nearly 20 years of experience in international marketing communications projects in the areas of consumer health, nutrition and services, and is well-versed in the agency side as well as the industry side of things.

She is an international business economist as PR consultant in the DAPR (German Academy of Public Relations) and studied English and Spanish for Business. Elisabeth Maino comes from the family of a specialist magazine publisher in the tourism industry. She was drawn to working in the specialist press as a child already. Through her passion for words and writing, she paid for her studies by working as a copywriter for magazines and the local press.

She began her career in 1998 at Novartis in the Eye Care division as a Communicator, moving later to the Diabetes and Women's Health division. In 2003 she took the step to being her own boss and, after completing training as a PR consultant with DAPR, founded a communications agency. There, she managed all sorts of communications projects for international and small and medium-sized enterprises with a team of copywriters, graphic designers and concept designers.

After a few years of entrepreneurship, a chemicals company made her an offer she couldn't refuse. She then worked as Global Marketing Communications Manager for the spin-off of the Carbon Black division and oversaw the repositioning of the company through to its IPO at the NYSE. Elisabeth Maino most recently worked as Dialogue Marketing Manager for the restructuring and management of the Baby Nutrition segment at Danone Nutricia/Milupa. From there, Edelman was able to recruit her to join the firm in its Corporate Health division.
