The world has always been changing, but not as quickly as it is now. Our communications landscape is a reflection of these changes and demands creative ideas that stand out. My goal is to create precisely that kind of concept - concepts that consumers perceive through the media overflow, that create a clear added value for brands and companies and that ideally also make our world a little nicer.
Saskia Osbar has been in charge of Beauty and Lifestyle communications at Edelman Germany since January 2016. As a team lead, she is responsible for creative, cross-media communications for renowned brands and companies in the beauty, fashion, lifestyle and tourism sectors. Her emphasis lies on concept development and managing precise, sustainable brand presentations across channels.
Saskia Osbar is a true child of the agencies: Since the beginning of her career, she has been active at various international agencies, where she has gotten to know the entire spectrum of communications. The majority of her customer experience lies in beauty, FMCG, and retail.
After earning a Master's degree in Marketing Communications in London, Saskia Osbar began her career as an Account Executive in planning at the CRM specialist dunnhumby, where she rose to the rank of International Account Manager. Upon her return to Germany, Saskia Osbar joined BBDO proximity, where she managed several accounts as Account Director. Her emphasis here was on strategic consulting for retail brands in the beauty segment, FMCG and lifestyle as well as communications planning.
Saskia Osbar is also co-chair of the women's network GWEN, loves everything related to design and fashion and is the proud mother of two daughters.
