As Group Director Creative Programming and Head of Content, Mandy Fischer is always on the lookout for a solid creative idea, an exciting story - in short, for content that is relevant to the brands and target groups, that has talk value and offers differentiation potential for brands. In this role, she is responsible for the strategic development of integrated communications programs and campaigns for consumer brands in widely varying areas and with differing needs and requirements.
As part of the Leadership Team at Edelman Germany, Mandy Fischer many years of experience in product and brand communications. Over the course of her career, she has overseen the strategic development and management of integrated communications campaigns for a broad range of consumer brands.
Clients she has managed include leading national and international brands in the Lifestyle and Food sectors, among them Starbucks, Smirnoff, Baileys, H.J Heinz, Chiquita, Cofresco and Toppits.
Beyond this, Mandy Fischer has demonstrated expertise in international communications and global hubbing. As Head of the Global Brand team, she was responsible for the development and implementation of the pan-European Save Food campaign in seven markets for Cofresco/Toppits. This campaign received the European Excellence Award in 2011.
Mandy Fischer studied cultural studies and communications. She holds an M.A. from Leuphana University Lüneburg and a B.A. from Angelo State University in Texas.
On the rare occasions she isn't working on the development, production and implementation of epic communications content, she likes to spend her time with her four-year-old daughter, experiment in vegetarian cooking (sometimes even with vegetables from her own garden), or binge-watch series on Netflix.
