This year too, the success story of the “Bitte berühren - Gemeinsam aktiv gegen Schuppenflechte” campaign is continuing for the Berufsverband der Deutschen Dermatologen e.V. (BVDD): the campaign ranks among the finalists for the International German PR Prize in the category of Associations and Public Facilities and therefore has a good chance of scoring one of the coveted trophies. This would then be the 12th award for “Bitte berühren” (Please touch). The three online short films for our client GROHE with the claim “Before a drip becomes a flood” have also made it onto the shortlist with nominations in the category of Moving Images.

The BVDD uses the “Bitte berühren” (Please touch) campaign to draw attention to the widespread ailment that is psoriasis. The goal is to motivate those affected to consult a dermatologist and commence a modern course of treatment in an effort to improve their quality of life and enable them to handle physical contact.

On the launch of the GROHE Sense and Sense Guard – two product innovations drawing attention to water pooling and leaks – the three online short films depict in a humorous fashion how water damage can arise unexpectedly and be avoided in everyday situations. The result: more than 5 million views on YouTube and Facebook during the first 3 weeks.

In the form of the International German PR Prize awarded by the DPRG, the professional association has long been celebrating the creative minds behind successful projects in a wide variety of communication sectors. The award ceremony will take place in the Sofitel Bayerpost in Munich on 26 April 2018. The full shortlist is available here.
