Frankfurt am Main, 9th of December 2021. Edelman Germany builds on its ESG expertise, appointing Stefanie Henn as Senior ESG Consultant. In her new role, Stefanie will lead the newly created Sustainability & Real Assets team within Edelman’s Financial Services division, which recently re-branded as Edelman Smithfield. Together with her team, Stefanie Henn will develop tailor-made communication concepts that focus on sustainability for both national and international clients. This includes advising and supporting financial companies in the conception and implementation of sustainability strategies and accompanying communications. Stefanie reports to Rüdiger Assion, Managing Director Financial Communications and Holger Nacken, Managing Director Financial Services. Jörg Schüren is responsible for Operations for the sector.

Stefanie Henn has around 20 years of consulting expertise in the financial services sector and counts strategy development, CEO positioning, crisis communication as well as classic earned, owned, paid and social media PR measures among her core competencies. She has been advising financial companies on their ESG communication for several years now, including on stakeholder approaches. She holds the prestigious University of Cambridge Certificate in Business Sustainability Management and is a member of the international alumni network of the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership.
