Edelman appoints Georg Kalter (40) as new Head of Digital in Germany with immediate effect. In this function, Georg Kalter will report directly to the Chief Creative Officer Manuel Frank.

In his new role, Georg Kalter will be responsible for a team of 28 consultants and digital specialists offering a broad spectrum of digital solutions out of Berlin and Hamburg: From comprehensive digital strategies, data analyse and SEO to influencer campaigns, paid campaigns, and social media content to digital website and web-tool development, training, newsletters, and chatbots.

With this line-up, Edelman once again intensifies its customer focus and complies with the increasing market demand for digital products as a regular part of corporate communications work. The specialist teams develop solutions for B2C and B2B. In the last financial year, digital services already contributed 20 % to Edelman's turnover in Germany. Currently, the division is growing by around 33 %.

Georg Kalter holds a Master of Arts degree in Media Studies, History, and North American Studies from the University of Potsdam and the Free University of Berlin. Since 2011 he has held various positions at Edelman. Previously, he founded and managed a start-up company with digital services.

Manuel Frank, Chief Creative Officer: "In recent years, Georg has made a significant contribution to the great success of the digital unit and has developed digital solutions for our customers, some of which are rolled out worldwide. I am very pleased that he will now bring his broad expertise to a wide range of projects across several teams."
