Since September, Ben Elias has been responsible for the strategy business of Edelman Germany as Executive Director of Strategic Planning. His main focus is integrated strategy development in the B2C and B2B sectors and the translation of brand strategy into communication and go-to-market strategy for national and international clients. In his role, Ben Elias leads the four-person Strategy and Planning team and reports to Christiane Schulz, CEO Edelman Germany.

Prior to joining Edelman, Ben Elias was the Head of Planning for the agency BBDO Proximity. Here, he mainly managed the expansion and transformation of the planning team - especially with regard to standardization of the strategy processes. He also acquired clients such as Porsche Motorsport, Porsche Digital and Brand Communication, Amazon Marketplace and Longchamp. He previously gained further multi-layered experience as a planner at McCann as the strategic lead for L'Oréal Men Expert & Skincare (local), Nordsee LEH (local), Siemens Healthineers & Fresenius Medical Care (global), at JWT Team Cosmo as the strategy lead for Mazda Europe and as the creative planner at Wunderman.
